How NihonNest works

  1. Learn: unlock a lesson to add its new cards.
  2. Review: try to recall each card, reveal the answer, then mark whether you got it right. Audio is optional.
  3. Coins: finish a session each day to earn coins and grow your streak and your island.

  • When does a card count as steady?

    After two right answers at least 3 days apart. A missed card starts its timer again.

  • How often do I get coins?

    Once a day, when you finish a session in your own time zone.

  • How do the island and shop work?

    Each day you finish a session, you earn coins. Spend them in the shop on items for your island, so your island grows along with your streak. Coins aren't credits and can't be bought.

  • What can I learn right now?

    Kana and starter N5, with more every week.

  • How do credits work?

    Sprout is RM9.90 for 15 credits. There's no subscription and credits never expire. If a purchase is refunded, its credits are taken back.

  • What if I spot a mistake?

    Tap Send feedback, and every report helps us fix cards.
